Graveside funeral services for Peggy Ann Birch will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Thompsonville Community Cemetery with Ray Blundell officiating. Peggy passed away on February 19, 2019, following a lengthy illness, at her home in Thompsonville, surrounded by loved ones. Peggy was born in Waelder on April 9, 1939. She was the daughter of William (Lewis) Richards and Willie V (Spike) Hill Richards, who proceeded her in death. She was also preceded by a sister, Billie Richards Naumann and many aunts, uncles and cousins and a niece. She is survived by her husband, David, two daughters, Terri (Bruce) Schreiner of Thompsonville, Sherry (Deedy) and husband (Rodney) Stewart of Houston, and son, David (Christin) of Lake Whitney, Texas, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, two sisters, Patsy Gene Frazier of Marble Falls, Texas and Karen Sue (Susie) Murray of Miles City, Montana, an aunt, Dorothy Kincaid and many cousins and friends, who adored her. Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Guadalupe Regional Hospice or the charity of your choice.
