Loyde Victor "Vic" Ashe, Jr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the age of 72. Vic was born September 3, 1944 in Fresno, California. He attended Milby High School in Houston, Texas, and went on to play both football and baseball at Baylor University. Vic married his college sweetheart Judy, and they raised their three children in Gonzales, Texas. Vic is survived by his sister Nicole Reasoner, daughters Michelle Oliver and Rachelle Pearson, son Bo Ashe, and five grandchildren. Vic is preceded in death by his wife Judy Schultz Ashe, mother Lea Smith Ashe, father Loyde Victor Ashe Sr. and companion Tina Cameron. Vic was an avid lover of the Baylor Bears, Dallas Cowboys, road trips to Wyoming, and cars lots of cars. He never met a stranger, and enjoyed telling jokes and stories about his past accomplishments as an athlete and coach. Funeral services will be held at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home Saturday, September 2 at 10am.
