Obituary for Yolanda Riojas

Yolanda Riojas, 50, of Luling, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021. She was born June 16, 1971 in Gonzales to Paul Villareal, Jr and Eva Riojas. She was raised by her grandparents Juan Riojas, Sr. and Virginia Ortiz Riojas. Yolanda was a member of Faith Family Church in Gonzales. She had worked as a welder for Kasper Wire Works and as an inspector for J Bar B Foods.

Yolanda was raised in Gonzales and attended schools in Gonzales. She had many friends growing up and enjoyed spending time with them. Yolanda was generous with her time, always putting the needs of others before her own. She was a shining light in the family, always bringing joy into family gatherings with her quick wit and sense of humor. Yolanda was a devout and loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. Yolanda loved holidays and spending time with family. She loved providing presents for her nieces and nephews, especially her niece Gabby who was the light of her life.

Yolanda Riojas is survived by her mother, Eva Riojas of Luling, grandparents, Paul Villareal, Sr and Louisa Villareal and her beloved nieces and nephews, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Paul Villareal, III.
