William Robert “Bobby” Steen, 89, of Gonzales, passed away Monday, September 9, 2019. He was born February 11, 1930 in Hochheim, the son of Hiram Brown Steen and Leita Dupoyster Steen. He married Amalia Camarillo on March 3, 1967 in Seguin, Texas. He was a retired rancher. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Molly Steen of Gonzales; daughters: Geraldine Pierce and husband Ronnie of Bandera, Terri Steen of Gonzales and Diana Garcia of Gonzales; sons: Robert Steven Steen and wife Christen of Wimberley and Milus Steen of Canyon Lake. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Raven Pierce, Tara Lewis, Connlly Steen, Robert Stone Steen, Don Steen, John Steen, John Pierce, Todd Stowe and Taylor Stowe. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Winston Steen and granddaughter Robin Pierce. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday with Reverend Robert Ramirez officiating. Interment will follow at the Steen Cemetery.
