Veronica was a mother to her four children, a grandmother to her six grandchildren, a sister to her two siblings, and a friend to many. She was the backbone of her family, always being there to support her family any way she could and providing comfort to those who needed it.

Veronica was a fun-spirited woman, she was wild, crazy and one to always joke around with. She was honest and told things how they were. She created special bonds with her family, and she gave out nicknames to those she loved dearest. Veronica shared her love and character with her children, she made it a task every day to joke around with her sister and brighten everyone’s day, those are memories her family will carry on to keep her memory alive.

Veronica was known for always being flashy; she loved having her nails done, anything bedazzled and always loved wearing her boots. She liked to go out and have a good time with friends, she loved to dance. She also looked forward to decorating her house for every holiday, Easter was her favorite.

The family wanted to include this poem:

“God’s Garden”

God looked around his garden,
And He found an empty place.
And then He looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he close your weary eyelids,
And whispered “Peace be thine”.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn’t go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
