Obituary for Sergio Azael Barajas

Sergio Azael Barajas paso a estar con el señor el 3 de febrero de 2023, nació en Gonzales, Tejas el 3 de diciembre. Desde el momento de su consepcion, fue rodeado de su familia, él era un niño amado y esperado. Es el primer hijo de 3 hermanos el era el mayor. Azael creció en una familia humilde pero rodeado de amor; su infancia fue lleno de aventuras y travesuras alado de sus primitos llenando así de recuerdos a su familia.

Sus primeras pasos y sus primeras palabras fueron un gozo para quienes lo vimos crecer, conforme fue creciendo fue mostrando sus habilidades y actitudes para muchas intereses personales tales como el deporte; el Futbol soccer y el voleibol, fueron entrenamientos en la escuela y distintas actividades tales como el boyscouts. Perseverándose y destacándose como un niño inteligente, extrovertido y excelente ser humano fue así como se lleno de amigos y opto siempre por hacer el bien, tanto así que era capaz de cuidar de sus propios hermanos mientras sus padres trabajaban. Sus tiempos libres le gustaba ver televisión y jugar videojuegos.

Hoy honoramos su vida en la tierra pues a pesar de ser tan corta nos deja un gran vacio, pues él era muy servicial y atento con sus amigos y familia. No solo en vida sino que hasta su muerte ha sido capaz de dejarnos un gran regalo, pues atravez de él y del amor infinito de sus padres podrá dar una esperanza de vida a otras personas. No solo extranaremos al buen hijo y hermano, pero jamás morirás, pues en nuestro corazón siempre estarás presente. Gracias por la enorme bendición de dejarnos estar en tu vida.

Le sobreviven sus padres Sergio Guzman Barajas y Gricelda Escoto Covarrubias Barajas, sus hermanos Bryan Barajas y Ivan Barajas, sus abuelos paternos Guadalupe Barajas y Ester Guzman Barajas, sus abuelos maternos Santiago Escoto y Aurelia Covarrubias Escoto, y numerosos primos.

Portadores del feretro incluye Ramon Escoto, Santiago Escoto, Eduardo Salazar, Ignacio Barajas, Cesar Valadez, y Alfonzo Barajas.

Visitacion será en la Funeraria de Seydler – Hill, 906 St. Paul St. En Gonzales, TX, lunes el 13 de febrero de 2023, de 11:00am – 3:00pm. El rosario será empezando a las 3:30pm en la Iglesia Católica de Sagrado Corazón, 426 Saint John St. Gonzales, TX, seguida la misa de la resurrección a las 4:00pm.

Sergio Azael Barajas passed away, February 3, 2023, he was born in Gonzales December 3, 2008 and was raised here all his life. From the moment his parents were pregnant with Sergio, he was surrounded by family, he was already so loved and everyone awaited his birth with so much happiness. He was the first born and oldest of three sons. Azael grew within a family that provided so much love, his childhood was full of adventure and antics beside his cousins, filling his life with memories of his family.

His first words and first steps were a joy to witness as he grew before their eyes; as he grew he demonstrated his abilities and actions to pursue his interests in sports like soccer and volleyball, these were his favorite sports to play at school. He was also involved in distinguished activities like the Boy scouts. Persevering in his academics and his involvement with sports, he gained friendships with his outgoing wit and his ability to always do good. He was a great in helping care for his younger brothers while his parents worked. On his free time, he enjoyed watching tv and playing videogames.

Today we honor his life on earth as his life was brought to an unexpected end, he leaves behind an emptiness, as he was always helpful and brought happiness to his family and friends.
Not only in his life but also with his death, he provided the greatest gift, with his love and the infinite love of his parents he was able to create miracles of life for other people. As a loving son and brother, his life will continue in the hearts of his family, his memory will never die. His family is grateful for the blessing of being in his life.

He is survived by his parents Sergio Guzman Barajas and Gricelda Escoto Covarubbias Barajas, his brothers Bryan Barajas and Ivan Barajas, his paternal grandparents Guadalupe Barajas and Ester Guzman Barajas, his maternal grandparents Santiago Escoto and Aurelia Covarrubias Escoto, and numerous cousins.

Pallbearers include Ramon Escoto, Santiago Escoto, Eduardo Salazar, Ignacio Barajas, Cesar Valadez, and Alfonzo Barajas.

Visitation will take place at Seydler – Hill Funeral Home, at 906 St. Paul St. in Gonzales, TX, Monday, February 13, 2023, from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Mass of the Resurrection will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 426 Saint John St. in Gonzales, TX at 4:00pm, a rosary will start at 3:30pm.
