Obituary for Seferino Martinez
El señor Seferino Martínez falleció sábado, el 15 de julio de 2023, en San Antonio, Tejas. Era un buen padre, un buen hermano, y un hombre muy alegre. Seferino nació en el Villa Juárez de San Luis Potosí en México. Vivió en California donde se casó con la señora Acela Meza Martínez conviviendo 30 años y formando una familia con su hijo José Alfredo, y su hija Adriana.
Amaba mucho a su familia, con su hermosa hija Adriana que de cariño le llamaba “mi prietita”, la vio crecer y la amaba mucho, pudo cuidarla hasta los últimos momentos de su vida, y aún ahora la sigue cuidandola desde el cielo.
A Seferino le gustaba mucho la música, y también era muy deportista, le gustaba
jugar beisbol, baloncesto, y futbol.
Era muy bueno con los animalitos, especialmente a su perrito Brownie y su cotorrito que le daba mucha alegría verlos. Seferino disfruto su vida conviviendo son sus sobrinos y sobrinas, hermanos y hermanas, y amigos en cualquier parte.
El era feliz creciendo en su pueblo Villa Juarez, lo vio crecer y formo parte del club social y deportivo de Villa Juarez conocida hoy como la Burrada.
Finalizando su vida en Gonzales, Tejas, Seferino fue muy feliz con su familia y amistades. Sera extrañado mucho, lo recordaremos por siempre y siempre vivira en nuestros corazones. Que descanse en paz Seferino.
El vellorio se llevará a cabo la Funeraria de Seydler – Hill, Jueves el 20 de julio de 2023, a las 5:00pm – 7:00pm, en seguida un rosario será empezando a las 7:00pm conducido por el diacono Alfonzo Moreno.
Los servicios para Seferino Martinez continuaran en Mexico.
Los servicios están bajo el cuidado y dirección de le Funeraria de Seydler – Hill.
El vellorio se llevará a cabo la Funeraria de Seydler – Hill, Jueves el 20 de julio de 2023, a las 5:00pm – 7:00pm, en seguida un rosario será empezando a las 7:00pm conducido por el diacono Alfonzo Moreno.

Seferino Martinez, of Gonzales, passed away Saturday July 15, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. He was a great father, a great brother, and overall a great man. Seferino was born in Villa Juarez of San Luis Potosi in Mexico. He later lived in California and married his wife Acela Meza Martinez, they shared 30 years together and grew their family with their son Jose Alfredo and their daughter Adriana.
Seferino loved his family, he had special bonds with both of his children, and he will continue to watch over them in heaven as he did while he was on earth. He enjoyed all kinds of sports, he played soccer, basketball and baseball. He had a love for animals too, especially his dog Brownie and his parrot, he enjoyed their companionship. Seferino enjoyed gathering with family and friends, it gave him great joy.
Growing up in Villa Juarez, he watched his town grow and he became part of a sports social club in Villa Juarez known as La Burrada.
Seferino spent the last years of his life here in Gonzales, his life was filled with happiness in knowing he had family and friends to spend his time with. He will be missed dearly; he will forever be remembered as his memory will be kept alive in our hearts. Rest in peace Seferino.
A visitation will be held for Seferino Martinez at Seydler – Hill funeral home, Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 5:0pm to 7:00pm. A rosary will follow at 7:00pm conducted by Deacon Alfonzo Moreno.
