Obituary for Sandra June Molnoskey
Sandra June LePori Molnoskey, 75, of Gonzales passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022. She was born to William “Alvis” and Doris LePori on April 21, 1946 in Gonzales, Texas. She married Edwin Michael Molnoskey, in Edna, in 1962.
Before marriage, Sandra attended East Side Baptist Church and St. James Catholic Church after marriage. Sandra was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her years working at Gindler’s Department Store in downtown Gonzales. In her free time, Sandra enjoyed sewing, puzzles, painting, drawing, spending time with her family, and capturing those memories in photos. In her younger years, Sandra loved the beach and traveling with the family up and down the Texas Gulf Coast.
She is survived by her daughter Tammy Lynn Simper and husband Keith of Cypress Texas; son Jared Wayne Molnoskey and fiance Jenny of Gonzales; grandchildren Kayle Molnoskey, Connor Molnoskey, Tabitha Simper, Katrina Simper, and Keaton Simper; Grandchild at heart Kaislyn Molnoskey; and sister Mary Miller of Gonzales. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents William “Alvis” and Doris LePori; husband Edwin Molnoskey; sister Donna LePori Garza; and brother David LePori.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of The Texan Nursing Home and The Care Team Hospice for their excellent care, attention to detail, and devotion. Thank you.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 6pm, followed with a Rosary being recited on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with Deacon Terry Brennen officiating. A service will be held at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home, on Wednesday, at 10 am, with interment to follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Jared Molnoskey, Connor Molnoskey, Keith Simper, Keaton Simper, Darron Hernandez, and William Miller. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the: Alzheimer’s Association or the Easterseals.
