Obituary for Salvador Antonio Otero
Salvador Antonio “Sal” Otero, Jr. 32, of Gonzales, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022. He was born March 29, 1989 in Seguin the son of Salvador and Maria Juarez Otero. He was a graduate of Gonzales High School and attended Victoria College where he received a certificate in welding. After college he was employed with Caterpillar in Seguin as an assembly line team leader for over 10 years. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. Sal loved to spend time with his nieces and nephews especially watching and encouraging them in sports. He was always there for family and friends.
He is survived by his parents Salvador and Maria Otero; sister Maria Martinez and husband Alex; brother Armando Otero all of Gonzales; grandmother Maria Refugio Velazquez de Otero of Mexico and his nieces Reyna, Natalia, Nadia and Abigail”YaYa” and his nephew Alex Jr.
