Obituary for Ruth Lenore Minyard (Robinson)
After 94 wonderful years of blessing many lives, Ruth Minyard died on June 9, 2021. She had eagerly awaited rejoining Ernie, the love of her life.
Ruth leaves behind their daughter Sharon and their son Gary. She rejoins their daughter Cindy, who also has been awaiting Ruth’s arrival. Her five grandchildren each carry a beautiful set of memories of their lives shared with Ruth. Those grandchildren will continue to share memories with Ruth and Ernie’s twelve great-grandchildren.
Ruth blessed all the lives she touched. She always seemed to know what each person needed. She walked through life very close to her Lord. She served God in many callings including teaching Sunday School for ages from preschool through adults. In all of her service she acted with joy and a great amount of preparation.
Ruth will be missed by all of us, but her recent suffering is over, and she is now joyfully reunited with Ernie in God’s new blessings.
A memorial service will be held at Covenant United Methodist Church, 4410 Duval Rd, Austin, Texas, at 10am on Saturday June 19.
