Primitivo Solis, 58, of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at his residence. Funeral Mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas with Father Paul Raaz officiating. Interment will follow at Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas. A Rosary will be recited on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales, Texas with Deacon Alfonso officiating. Primitivo was born on June 10, 1957 in GTO, Mexico. He was the son of Filberto and Juana (Padron) Solis. He married Amparo Rodriguez on March 7, 1987 in GTO, Mexico. Primitivo didn t have any hobbies, simply because he enjoyed work as his hobby. He also liked to travel to visit family. Primitivo was employed as a heavy equipment operator in construction. Primitivo is survived by his wife; Amparo Solis, four sons; Gilberto Solis of Gonzales, Texas, Samuel Solis of Gonzales, Texas, Abraham Solis and his fiancé Saundra Castaneda of Gonzales, Texas, Nestor Solis of Gonzales, Texas, two daughters; Angelica Solis of Gonzales, Texas, Daene Solis of Gonzales, Texas, four brothers, three sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Filberto and Juana Solis, and one son; Cruz Solis.
