Patricia Rangel, age 49, of Waelder, Texas passed away on Tuesday May 14, 2019. Patricia was born March 6, 1970 in Valle de Santiago, Guanajuato, Mexico to Estela Rangel Arvizo and Jose Rangel. Patricia was a religious woman and attended Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Waelder, Texas. She was a single mother of two, whom she loved with all her heart. She is well remembered as a very hard working and independent woman. Although life was tough, she was even tougher. She was very kind and generous with everyone she knew, and even with those she did not personally know. She never hesitated to help. Patricia is survived by; son Erick Nino; and daughter Daniela Nino; father Jose Rangel and mother Estela Rangel Arvizo; brother Jorge Rangel, sister-in-law Maria Rangel, brother Sergio Rangel, sister-in-law Cecilia Rangel, brother Juan Rangel, sister-in-law Araceli Rangel, brother Rene Rangel, sister-in-law Maria Rangel, brother Adrian Rangel and sister-in-law Yazmin Rangel. Patricia was preceded in death by; brother Eric Rangel; grandmother Juana Morales. A visitation for Patricia was held Friday, May 17, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Buffington Funeral Home, Gonzales, Texas; and, a rosary was said, Friday, May 17, 2019 at 7:00 PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Waelder, Texas. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Waelder, Texas. Interment will follow at Waelder Community Cemetery, Waelder, Texas. Serving as pallbearers are Jorge Rangel, Juan Rangel, Sergio Rangel, Adrian Rangel, Eric Rangel, Arcadio Resendiz and Jose Garcia.
