Opal Mae (Wilkerson) Kloss, 85, of San Antonio, Texas and formerly of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at her residence. Graveside services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 3:30 pm at Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas with Reverend Vance Rogers officiating. Friends and relatives may pay their respects at the funeral home from 1:30 to 3:00 pm prior to the graveside services. Opal was born on October 12, 1929 in Gonzales, Texas. She was the daughter of Henry Jefferson and Mary Frances (Caraway) Wilkerson. Opal married Clifton Kloss on July 16, 1949 in Gonzales, Texas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing for her family. She liked to watch tv and going on trips to Las Vegas. Her greatest joy was caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by one son; Harry Kloss of San Antonio, Texas, two daughters; Donna Kloss of Live Oak, Texas, Janna Kloss of New Braunfels, Texas, three grandsons; Clifton Washek and his wife, Amy of Gainsville, Texas, Jeffrey Washek of Live Oak, Texas, Matthew Stautzenberger of San Antonio, Texas, two granddaughters; Laurie Soto and her husband, Jason of San Antonio, Texas, Caitlin Villegas and her husband, Luis of Corpus Christi, Texas, four great-granddaughters; Gretchen and Ingrid Stautzenberger, Lillian Villegas, Jaci Soto, one brother; Walter Tubby Wilkerson, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Henry and Mary Wilkerson, an infant daughter, Her husband; Clifton Kloss, four brothers; Sam Wilkerson, Stanley Wilkerson, Bill Wilkerson, Bud Wilkerson, two sisters; Tence Wyatt and Frankie Novak. Pallbearers for Mrs. Kloss will be; Clifton Washek, Jeffery Washek, Matthew Stautzenberger, John Henry Wilkerson, Harlen Wilkerson, and Pete Wilkerson.
