Odelia Vega, 73, of Gonzales, Texas passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Northeast Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Funeral Mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas with Father Paul Raaz. A Rosary will be recited on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 6:30 P.M. at the Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales, Texas with Deacon John Klapuch officiating. Interment will follow at the St. James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas. Odelia was born on July, 25, 1940 in Harlingen, Texas. She was the daughter of Edwin and Dolores (Bardrco) Tillman. Odelia enjoyed her life as a homemaker. Odelia is survived by Allen, her loving husband, three sons; Jerry Vega of Gonzales, Texas, Joseph Vega of Gonzales, Texas, Rubin Gonzales of Gonzales, Texas, three daughters; Odelia Ann Vega of Gonzales, Texas, Elizabeth Garcia of Yoakum, Texas, Suzanne Vega of Gonzales, Texas, one brother; Edward Tillman of Brownsville, Texas, one sister; Erma Tillman of Houston, Texas, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
