Michael 'Mic' A. Garza, 37 of New Braunfels, Texas went home to our heavenly Father on Nov. 28, 2020, and is under the care of Buffington Funeral Home. Michael was blessed to have two sets of parents. He was born to Jesse N Torres and Ramona Garza in Big Spring, Texas, on March 29, 1983. He was raised by his parents Daniel and Sylvia Miramontes of Big Spring, Texas. He is survived by his partner Sergio Valdes Resendiz, three brothers: Joe L. Miramontes of Big Spring, Texas, Danny Ruiz of Odessa, Texas, Kaniel Miramontes of Big Spring, Texas. Three sisters: Elizabeth Garza of Gonzales, Texas, Roxann Evans and Ashley Miramontes of Big Spring, Texas, maternal grandmother Sara Garza of Gonzales, Texas, numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces and cousins. His two dogs: Buboo and Ogie, He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Joe A. Torres and Trinidad Nunez, and his maternal grandfather Eleazar Garza Sr. Michael attended Howard College in Big Spring, Texas, and UTPB University in Odessa, Texas. He loved to cook and experiment with different recipes, dancing and listening to music. He loved history and art and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved watching old movies. He loved to debate on subjects that were important to him. Michael was Baptized on November 27, 2016, at Family Faith Center by Pastor Samuel Segundo in Big Spring, Texas. Visitation will be Friday, December 11, 2020, at Buffington Funeral Home, 424 St. Peter, Gonzales, Texas 78629, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas, on Saturday, December 12, 2020. A heartfelt thank you to Nick and Tina Marie Clark for the care and guidance during this sorrowful time. Thank you, Jesse and Ramona, for blessing us with Michael's short time on earth. Michael was full of life and laughter. He loved life. Michael, you will live in our hearts forever.
