Obituary for Mary Frances Maulding

Mary Frances (Cuvelier) Maulding, 90, of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Texan Nursing and Rehab in Gonzales, Texas. Funeral Services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales, Texas with Reverend Todd Craven of Harwood Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Woodman of the World Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas. There will be a Family Visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas. Mary was born on April 16, 1923 in Ottine, Texas. She was the daughter of Julius and Edna (Kitchen) Cuvelier. Mary married Victor Hugh Maulding on June 28, 1940 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She married AJ Robinson in May 1979 in Seguin, Texas. She enjoyed taking care of her vegetable garden. She listened to old country music and gospel music as well as reading her Bible daily. Mary enjoyed cooking for her family and they say she made the best homemade bread. She was a loving and caring lady. Mary is survived by two daughters; Frances Gunby of Luling, Texas, Treatie Stevens of San Antonio, Texas, one brother; Frank Cuvelier of Hopewell Junction, New York, two granddaughters; Karen Ingram and her husband, CJ of Luling, Texas, Monica Haddock and her husband, Michael of Harwood, Texas, one grandson; Robert L. Stevens, Jr. and his wife, Norma of Sommerset, Texas, ten great-grandchildren; Meranda, Justin, Dustin, Cliff, Melissa, Ciara, Robert, Rebecca, Victoria, and Leon, five great-great-grandchildren; Kameryn, Karli, Kaisen, Payton, and Bryntleigh. She was preceded in death by her parents; Julius and Edna Kitchen, two husbands; Victor Hugh Maulding (1974), AJ Robinson (1996), one daughter; Melissa Maulding, one grandson; Victor Ivey, one brother; Emil Cuvelier, and one sister; Madeline Pullin.
