Maria Gloria (Salinas) Molina, 68, of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at The Heights of Gonzales in Gonzales, Texas. Funeral Services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clint Lowrey officiating. Interment will follow at San Pedro Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Buffington Funeral Home. Maria was born on January 26, 1948 in Mathis, Texas. She was the daughter of Elizar and Maria Francisca (Dimas) Salinas. She married Eginio Salinas on November 18, 1968 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas. She enjoyed reading her Bible and having Bible Study with the neighborhood kids. She liked crocheting, sewing, baking cookies, and caring for her flower garden. She liked to sing while working, or doing whatever. She was always outside enjoying mother nature, but she loved taking care of her family. Maria is survived by two sons; Eginio Molina, Jr. and his fiancé, Michelle Garza of Gonzales, Texas, Robert Patrick Molina and his wife, Hilda of Kyle, Texas, two daughters; Rebecca Guerra and her husband, Anthony of Gonzales, Texas, Georgie Malatek and her husband, Bruce of Gonzales, Texas, one brother; Alfred Salinas of Houston, Texas, three sisters; Maria Guerrero and her husband, Pedro of Pflugerville, Texas, Janie Walker and her husband, John of Lebanon, Tennessee, Diana Olvera of Austin, Texas, eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Elizar and Francisca Salinas, her loving husband of forty-five years; Eginio Molina, two brothers; Javier Salinas, Elizar Salinas, Jr., three sisters; Celia Solis, Susie Jenks, and Brigida Salinas. Pallbearers for Mrs. Molina will be; Brian Bennett, Cody Molina, Cory Molina, Pat Molina, Shawn Cuffee, Dwight Malatek, Anthony Guerra, and Jaylyn Molina.
