Margarito Casares, 87, of Moulton, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Lavaca Medical Center in Hallettsville, Texas. Graveside Services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 10:00 am at Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas with Father Jason Martini officiating. Margarita was born on March 21, 1933 in Gonzales, Texas. He was the son of Jacinto and Sebastian (Aguilar) Casares. He was married to Alita Guerra. He liked to go fishing, and playing dominoes. He liked to watch wrestling and the Dallas Cowboys on TV. Margarito is survived by one son; David Daniel Casares, one brother; Hilario Casares and his wife, Teheresa of Shiner, Texas, four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Jacinto and Sebastian Casares, and his wife, Alita. Pallbearers for Mr. Casares will be; David Casares, Richard Casares, Nolan Ryan Casares, Gabe Casares, John Paul Garcia, and John Button.
