Margaret Elaine Kennedy, 75, passed away on October 26, 2022, at her residence in Gonzales, TX. Elaine was born June 24, 1947; she was a Gonzales local and dedicated her life to her children and extended family as a homemaker. Her hobbies and interests included family history and genealogy.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents William Edgar Rhoades of Leesville, and Joyce Irle Moore of Gonzales, her siblings Shelby Ray Rhoades, Judy Diane Rhoades, William Preston Rhoades and her loving friend Doris Green.
She is survived by her husband Charles Edward Kennedy Sr., her daughter Suzzanne Michelle Baker of Onalaska, her sons Douglas Owen Weaver and wife Emma Sue of Nixon, Charles Edward Kennedy Jr. and wife Kristi of Houston, her sister Brenda Mann of Texarkana, her brothers David Rhoades of Gonzales, Johnny Rhoades of Gonzales, Donnie Rhoades and Sunny of San Marcos. She has nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. So many more that were close to her heart: Michelle Green McKinney, Brandon and Amber Roach, William Baker, and Janie Baker.

Pallbearers are Grandsons: Clinton Baker, Gary Kennedy, Dalton Kennedy, Eddie Riojas, Gregory Kuntschik Jr, and Family Friend James ‘Dink’ McKinney.
A visitation for Elaine will take place Monday, October 31st, 2022, at Seydler- Hill Funeral Home from 5pm to 7pm. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, November 1st, 2022, at 10am. Interment will follow at Saturn Cemetery.
