Machelle Lynn Neubauer, 63, of Gonzales, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018. She was born August 18, 1954 in Gonzales, the daughter of William D. and Betty Jean Kosarek Neubauer. She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in San Antonio. She served in the U.S. Navy from 1976 to 1980 as a Petty Officer 2nd Class. She was employed with the U.S. Treasury-IRS and retired after 24 years of service. She enjoyed reading, watching wrestling, listening to music everything from rap to rock, she especially loved classic rock and was proud of the fact that her first concert was seeing Jimi Hendrix in the 1970’s. But her most enjoyment came from time spent with her treasured family especially the love of her life her son Hunter. She is survived by her son Hunter Kelly Demyen of Gonzales; mother Betty Neubauer of Gonzales; sister Shanna Jean Neubauer of Kyle and brother William Douglas Neubauer and wife Lisa of Bulverde. She was preceded in death by her father and her brother James Russell Neubauer. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.
