Obituary for Linda Lee Koch

Linda Koch, age 75, mother of Genee and John, and wife to David Koch, passed away peacefully in the early hours of the 6th of October. Linda grew up surrounded by her parents and brothers in a ranching family and enjoyed being with all types of animals from a very young age. She also loved spending summers with her beloved grandparents in West Texas. Linda was extremely proud of her family’s military service and supported David and her children through multiple moves and deployments volunteering frequently with military family support organizations.

In addition, when David began teaching Junior ROTC, Linda volunteered at the high schools teaching the students all aspects of military etiquette, ballroom dancing, and of course, feeding them very well! When Genee and John were in grade school, Linda volunteered frequently with all school related functions including the PTA and school Harvest Festivals. Linda enjoyed holding her grandchildren when they were little and later spoiling them with her baked goods, particularly her cookies, cakes and pies! In her free time, Linda loved being with her pets, cooking, weaving beautiful baskets, and beautifying her home and yard.

Linda is survived by her husband, daughter, son, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, five grandchildren, one great grandchild, her mother, three brothers and their families.
