Obituary for Lillian Havel

Lillian (Janecka) Havel,93, of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Texan Nursing & Rehab in Gonzales, Texas. Funeral Mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 10:00 am at Saint James Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas with Father Jason Martini officiating. Interment will follow at Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas. Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm on Friday, October 2, 2020 and the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Lillian was born on October 8, 1927 in West Point, Texas. She was the daughter of A. Louis and Julia (Jurek) Janecka. Lillian married Anton Havel at Saint James Catholic Church on August 16, 1950. Lillian was a homemaker who loved being with her children and grandchildren. She liked to cook, bake, and canning fresh vegetables. Lillian enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and doing embroidery. She liked dancing to Czech music with her husband, Anton. She liked to read and paint pictures. Lillian is survived by one son; David Havel and his wife, Angelita Vasquez of Gonzales, Texas, two daughters; Carolyn Migl and her husband, Allen of Sweet Home, Texas, Vivian Havel of Gonzales, Texas, one sister-in-law; Debra Havel, twelve grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; A. Louis and Julia Janecka, one son; Michael Havel, one daughter; Katherine Havel, four brothers; Anton Janecka, Tommy Janecka, John Janecka, Louis Janecka, and one sister; Frances Rajnoch. Pallbearers for Mrs. Havel will be; Russell Migl, Tyler Havel, Jacob Havel, Matthew Havel, Daniel Havel, and Anthony Havel.
