Obituary for John Albert Sepulveda
John Albert Sepulveda, 68, of Gonzales, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021. He was born November 17, 1952 in Gonzales, the son of Joe and Guadalupe Sepulveda. John was a painter for over 30 years and later worked in maintenance for the Monte Vista Apartments. He married Rosa Valle on October 27, 1977 in Gonzales.
He enjoyed listening to music and watching sports especially The Texas Longhorns and the San Antonio Spurs. He was known as a hard worker and was always willing to help others. Most of all he was a devoted father and always placed the needs of his children and grandchildren above his own.
He is survived by his daughters: Isabel Valle of Gonzales and Jessica Perry and husband Daniel of San Antonio; sons: Jacob Sepulveda and Lisa San Miguel, John Sepulveda and Justine Granado , Justin Sepulveda and Victoria Trevino all of Gonzales; sisters: Gloria Gonzales and Patricia Garcia both of Gonzales; brothers: Henry Sepulveda of Victoria, Manuel Sepulveda and Ruben Sepulveda both of Gonzales; also surviving are 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rosa and his brother Joe Sepulveda.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday April 6, 2021 at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Jason Martini officiating.
Due to current CDC, State and local mandates, protective measures regarding social distancing and use of personal protective masks will be required for the visitation and graveside burial rite. Those remotely symptomatic of COVID-19 are politely asked not to attend. Services are under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.
