Obituary for John Clay Langendorff

John Clay Langendorff, of Leesville, TX, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the age of 57.

Clay was born in San Antonio, TX on February 13, 1963. He held many positions throughout his life developing his trade as a craftsman. Clay was a devoted father and avid hunter. He enjoyed endless shenanigans with his grandchildren, fishing on Sunday morning, a cold beer and a good jug of whiskey. As the self-proclaimed “Mayor of Leesville’ countless people gathered around the round table for his charming storytelling and contagious laughter. Clay was master of his trade, often taking on difficult or challenging projects at work and around the house. He was a spiritual man dedicated to his wife and helping anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

Clay is survived by his wife Heather Langendorff, children Kelsey Brazle; Johnnie Langendorff and Molli Broadway, three grandchildren; Corey Brazle, Texas Clay Broadway and Claylee Broadway.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service Saturday, June 6, 2020 in Leesville, TX. The family is grateful for the condolences but prefers not to receive flowers and donations.
