Jesse Camarillo, 79, of San Antonio and formerly of Gonzales, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013. Funeral Mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas with Father Paul Raaz officiating. Interment will follow at Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 7:30 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas with Deacon Terry officiating. Visitation will begin on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 9:00 am at Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas. Jesse was born December 17, 1933 in Gonzales, Texas. He was the son of Victor and Susana (Flores) Camarillo. Jesse married Felipa Contrereas on September 25, 1952 in Gonzales, Texas. Jesse liked going to garage sales and flea markets searching for antiques to add to his collection. He liked to buy bargan cars and resell them. He enjoyed doing yardwork and using his green thumb to grow anything he wanted. Jesse liked to eat and watch sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Jesse liked to listen to Mexican Music that had a lot of the accordion in it. His greatest love was his grandkids and family. Jesse is survived by Felipa, his wife of 61 years, four sons; Jacob Camarillo and his wife, Carol of San Marcus, Texas, Carl Camarillo and his wife, Kim of Victoria, Texas, August Camarillo of San Antonio, Texas,Victor Camarillo and his wife, Rebecca of San Antonio, Texas, one daughter; Angela Camarillo of San Antonio, Texas, four brothers; Rudy Camarillo and his wife, Minnie of Victoria, Texas, Lorenzo Camarillo and his wife, Patsy of Gonzales, Texas, Chon Camarillo and his wife, Connie of Gonzales, Texas, Ruben Camarillo and his wife, Sonia of Gonzales, Texas, four sisters; Elida Cantu of Gonzales, Texas, Minnie Longoria and her husband, Fidel of Gonzales, Texas, Mary Frances Carrizales and her husband, Joe of Gonzales, Texas, Mary Jane Gaytan and her husband, Alex of Gonzales, Texas, nine grandchildren; Jason Camarillo, Csaey Camarillo, Carl Patrick Camarillo, Alissa Camarillo, Jesse Eatham Camarillo, Victoria Camarillo, Tristan Camarillo, Lisetta Camarillo, Caseigh Monney, and one great-granddaughter; Sophia Grace Camarillo. He was preceded in death by his parents; Victor and Susana Camarillo, one grandson; Aidan Camarillo, one brother; David Camarillo, one sister; Elizabeth Camarillo, and one brother-in-law; Adam Cantu.
