Hope Rodriguez Sourbeck, 61, of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Hillcrest Manor Nursing & Rehab in Luling, Texas, Funeral Mass and Cremation Rites are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales, Texas. Hope was born on November 16, 1953 in Gonzales, Texas. She was the daughter of Luciano and Julia (Longoria) Rodriguez. She married Charles Sourbeck in March, 1988 in Austin, Texas. Hope liked to read and watch Sci-Fi movies. She had to have her morning coffee every morning. She loved to play with and care for her grandchildren. Hope is survived by one son; Daniel Rodriguez and his wife, Zenaida currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan, one daughter; Victoria Sourbeck and her fiancé, Erik Currie of Gonzales, Texas, three brothers; Guadalupe Rodriguez and his wife, Evelia of Houston, Texas, Luciano Rodriguez and his wie, Josie of Gonzales, Texas, Richard Rodriguez and his wife, Nikki of Gonzales, Texas, three sisters; Janie Hastings and her husband, Jose Luis Sanchez of Gonzales, Texas, Lupita Tijerina of Gonzales, Texas, Carmen Gutierrez and her husband, Diago of Crown Point, Indiana, four grandchildren; Daniel Rodriguez, Jr., Jonathon Rodriguez, Rosie Rodriguez, and Emily Currie. She was preceded in death by her parents; Luciano and Julia Rodriguez, her husband; Charles Sourbeck, one brother; Emilio Rodriguez, two sisters; Connie Rodriguez, and Esther DeLa Cruz.
