Obituary for Francisco "Frank" Rosales, Jr.

Francisco “Frank” Rosales, Jr. passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023. He was born on May 30, 1971, in Houston, Tx to his parents Juanita “Janie” Ramirez Rosales and Francisco “Frank” Rosales, Sr.. Frank was born and raised here in Gonzales and graduated from Gonzales High School in 1990. He was previously employed by J Bar B Foods and his current employer was Adam’s Extract & Spice LLC. Frank was a hard-working man with strong family values. He was a son, a brother, and an uncle; his life was fulfilled by the abundance of love he had at home.

Frank was a collector; he was a devoted Marvel comics fan and collected Marvel Legends Multi-Universe figurines, Funko Pops and coins. He was a very creative person and spent his spare time drawing. Frank and his mom Janie would often spend their Friday nights at his sister Michelle’s house, they would go over and watch movies with Michelle, her husband Bobby and his nephews Justus and Jesiah. Saturday was Frank’s movie theatre night; it was his weekly routine and he looked forward to catching the latest movies. He had a kind and caring soul, he constantly prayed for the safety of his brother Christopher and his nephew Jeremiah as they are law enforcement, he prayed that they would be protected and would be kept out of harm's way. Frank held onto the importance of his family, he kept them in his prayers, and he showed them his love by always being present in their lives.

He is survived by his parents Janie Rosales and Frank Rosales, Sr., his sisters Cynthia Sanchez (Raul), Michelle Cantu (Bobby), his brother Christopher Rosales (Veronica Serna), his 3 nieces, 4 nephews, his 2 grandnieces, and 2 grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his grandnephew Kyrie Salinas, his maternal grandparents Domingo and Juana Ramirez, and his paternal grandparents Jose and Porfiria Rosales.
