Francisca Martinez Flores, 82, of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at her residence. Funeral Mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas, and will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas with Father Paul Raaz officiating. Interment will follow at Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales, Texas with Deacon Alfonso Moreno officiating. Francisca was the Daughter of Santiago and Maria (Camarillo) Martinez. She was born on December 18, 1932 in Waelder, Texas. She married Jesus Flores in Mexico. She liked taking care of her flowers, watching soap operas on tv and cooking for her family. She loved playing with her grandchildren. Francisca is survived by four sons; Mariano Flores and his wife, Susan of Seguin, Texas, Santiago Flores and his wife, Martha of Austin, Texas, Carlos Flores and his wife, Olga of Luling, Texas, Manuel Flores of Gonzales, Texas, two daughters; Maria Amanda Vasquez and her husband, Joel of San Marcos, Texas, Gloria Flores of Seguin, Texas, thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Santiago and Maria Martinez, her husband; Jesus Flores, one son; Jesus Reynaldo Flores, and one daughter; Briselda Flores.
