Dharius Dewon Scott joined the angels Friday, February 17, 2023, in Gonzales, Texas. His family will honor his memory; the hopes and dreams they had for Dharius will continue to exist through their unconditional love. Dharius will continue to influence his family through his short-lived life; as they anxiously awaited his birth they were not prepared for this loss, but they remember the happiness they experienced during their pregnancy. His father Devon had morning sickness and his mother Carolyn had joy enveloped in love, together they shared anticipation and jubilation in the months of carrying. His parents and siblings will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his parents Devin Scott and Carolyn Bautista, his sisters Daisy Marie Izaguirre, Damaris Ilzvette Izaguirre, and his brother David Matthew Izaguirre, his paternal grandparents Marlon Scott and Rosa Almonte, his paternal great-grandparents Sonny Burton, Paula Scott and Ines Wita Alverado, his maternal grandparents Jose Azuca Bautista and Petra Rodriguez Bautista, and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

A funeral service will take place at Seydler – Hill Funeral Home Friday, March 10, 2023, at 4:00, services will be conducted by Deacon Terry Brennan. Pallbearers will include Shondrae Fields, Germoine Taylor, David Izaguirre and Koren Scott.

All services are under the care and direction of Seyder – Hill Funeral Home.
