Danny Riojas,52, of Gonzales, Texas peacefully passed away into the arms of our Lordon Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Heights of Gonzales in Gonzales, Texas. Funeral Mass is under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, Texas with Father Paul Raaz officiating. Interment will follow at Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas. Rosary will be recited at the Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales, Texas Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 7:00 pm. Danny was born September 20, 1960 in Gonzales, Texas. He was the son of Paul and Delia (Trevino) Riojas. Danny was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and loved to have a few beers with his friends while watching the game. Danny was a fan of most Texas teams. He is survived by his father; Paul Riojas, three sons; Jeremy Riojas of Gonzales, Texas, Brandon Riojas of Gonzales, Texas, Adrian Riojas of Gonzales, Texas, four sisters; Doris Cruz and her husband, Martin of Handford, California, Roxann Riojas of Buda, Texas, Michelle Shiu and her husband, Jimmy of Bakersfield, California, Miranda Riojas of Gonzales, Texas, one brother; Richard Romero of Othello, Washington, one grandson; Tyler of Gonzales, Texas, three granddaughters; Haley, Ainsley, and Blakely, all of Gonzales, Texas, five nephews and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother; Delia Trevino Romero, maternal grandparents; Mike and Adela Trevino, and his paternal grandparents; Joe and Rosalinda Riojas.
