Charles Fredrick “Fred” Beeson, age 81, of Seguin, Texas passed away November 18, 2020. Fred was born December 8, 1938 in Gonzales County to LaVell Rentz Beeson and Melvin Elisha Beeson.

Fred married the love of his life, Beverly Ann Neitsch Beeson, on June 17th, 1960. Fred worked for S. Simmons, a wholesale grocery in San Antonio, was manager of Sanitary Creamery in Gonzales and worked for Ferrell Gas Company in Gonzales.

He and Beverly enjoyed many trips across the U.S., touring Alaska and other places as well. Fred was alifelong member of the First United Methodist Church. He was past president of the Gonzales Evening Lion’s Club in the 70’s. He loved woodworking, he built things for his sister-in-law Tamra Ainsworth, his daughters Monica McNeil and Kassie Mays. Beverly was always coming up with some new ideas, shelves, bookcase, china cabinet and so on.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings Melva Tate, baby boy Melvin Elisha Jr. and Betty Gandre. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years Beverly, daughters Kassie Beeson Mays and husband Wayne, Monica Beeson McNeil and husband Donovan; grandchildren: Elizabeth Mays, Killian McNeil Hutchison and husband Nate and Kenzie Beeson; brothers Ray and Tim Beeson; sisters Willie Ann Canion and Sandra Burleson; sister in law and brother in law Tamra and Gary Ainsworth and many nieces and nephews. Fred’s family would like to thank his caregiver Catherine Smith.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Hermann Son’s Cemetery with Reverend Paul Smith officiating. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church.

Due to current CDC, State and local mandates, protective measures regarding social distancing, limited attendance capacity, and use of personal protective masks will be required for the graveside burial rite. Services are under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home 906 St. Paul, Gonzales, TX

Please accept my sincere sympathy on the passing of my first cousin Fred Beeson. Of course, the Morrow family knew him as "Freddie." The Beesons and Morrows have had many fun times over the years, and I think of some of them now as I reflect on the the life of Charles Fredrick Beeson and our growing up years and beyond. Know that my prayers are with all of the family.
