Carol Ann Siepmann, 73, of Cost, TX, was born in Sinton, TX, March 26, 1947 oldest of four siblings. She was raised on a farm in Clareville and graduated from Skidmore-Tynan High School. She played women’s basketball, served as the band Drum Major, and was active in the Home Economics Program. She married Wayne Siepmann on May 20, 1967. They were married for 53 years. She worked as a secretary at the Texas Water Quality Board and became a full-time homemaker with the birth of two daughters, Kimberly Marie and Tara Ann. She was active in Sewing Guild, Home Demonstration Club, Girl Scouts of America, and the United Methodist Church. She owned a home-based small business sewing custom clothing, alterations, costumes, formal wear and home decor for many years. Carol excelled at cooking and baking, and preparing delicious meals was one of the many ways she demonstrated love to family and friends. Taking care of her family was a priority in her life. She was a proud and supportive grandmother to five grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, dogs, spending time with friends and neighbors, crafting, music, fishing, and gardening.

Carol is survived by her adoring family; husband, Wayne Siepmann of Cost, daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly Marie Fall and Kevin of Buda, Tara Ann Herren and Douglas of Cibolo, sister and brother-in-law, Kathy Hernandez and Servando, brothers, Richard and William Ludwig, grandchildren, Dylan Fall, Blake Fall, Lauren Herren, Riley Fall, and Kendra Herren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in the Monthalia United Methodist Church with Pastor Paul Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Monthalia Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers: George Fink, Tom Lindemann, Doug Herren, Dylan Fall, Riley Fall, Matthew Ludwig, Lauren Herren and Kendra Herren. In lieu of usual remembrances, memorials may be made in Carol’s name to the American Diabetes Association or the Monthalia United Methodist Church.
