Anita Riojas, 67, of Gonzales, Texas passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 10:00 am at Two Rivers Bible Church in Gonzales, Texas with Reverend Jesse Elizondo officiating. Burial will follow at Saint James Catholic Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas. Visitation will begin at Noon until 9:00 pm. Anita was born in Rosenberg, Texas on September 14, 1948. She was the daughter of Inocencio Martinez and Virginia (Morales) Riojas. She married Celso Almaguer Hernandez on November 20, 2012 in Gonzales, Texas after many loving years together. Anita enjoyed helping others. She was a faithful member of Two Rivers Bible Church and loved to read her Bible. She liked to read the ladies magazines. Anita was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Anita is survived by her husband; Celso Almaguer Hernandez, three sons; Michael A. Riojas of Gonzales, Texas, Jesse M. Navejar, Jr. and his wife, Dana of Gonzales, Texas, Daniel Navejar and his wife Sandy of Gonzales, Texas, three daughters; Malena Navejar and her husband, Francisco of Gonzales, Texas, Diane Navejar Ramos and her husband, Frank of Universal City, Texas, Maria Navejar Rhodes and her husband, James, Jr. two brothers; Fabian Riojas of Gonzales, Texas, Frank Riojas of Gonzales, Texas, seven sisters; Raphaela Sepulveda of Gonzales, Texas, Mary Cantu of Gonzales, Texas, Rosemary Almaguer of Yoakum, Texas, Janie Rodriguez of Gonzales, Texas, Delia Zamora of Gonzales, Texas, Esperanza Riojas of California, Hilaria Zamora of Gonzales, Texas, thirty-one grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Inocencio Martinez and Virginia Riojas, four brothers; Ben Riojas, Frank Riojas, David Riojas, Fred Riojas, and one sister; Sandra Flores. Pallbearers for Mrs. Riojas will be; James Gene Rhodes, Jr., Manuel Almaguer, Miguel Almaguer, Jesse M. Navejar, III, Michael Anthony Ramirez, David Alexander Navarro, George Almaguer, Jr. and Eduardo Almaguer. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Frank Ramos, Brittany Ramos, and Tiffany Ramos.
