Obituary for Albert Lee Ramos Sr.

Albert Lee Ramos, Sr., 45 of Gonzales, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020. Albert was born on November 24, 1974 to Mary Helen Rios and Albert Joe Ramos in Gonzales. He graduated from Gonzales High School in 1993, and went on to graduate from the ITT Technical Institute in 1995.

Albert spent most of his time surrounded by his loved ones. He adored his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed being outdoors, Bar-B-Qing with family, and listening to his rock and roll and metal music. Everyone that knew Albert, knew his love for sports, specifically the Atlanta Falcons. He was by far their #1 fan.

Albert is survived by his father, Albert Joe Ramos, mother and step-father, Mary Helen and Anthony Garcia, daughter, Elizabeth Martinez and husband Donovan of San Antonio, sons, Albert Lee Ramos, Jr. and Aaron Lee Ramos, both of San Antonio, sisters, Karen Kidd, Lori Ortiz, Andrea Ramos, and Genisis Ramos, brothers, Michael Garcia, John Paul Garcia, Chris Ramos, AJ Ramos, and Aaron Ramos, and 2 grandchildren, Jerrius and Athaena Martinez.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 9 until 10 AM in Seydler-Hill Funeral Home. A service will begin at 10 AM with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating. Interment will then follow in the St. James Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Damyan Kidd, Angel Casares, Louis Casares, Chris Ramos, Jesse Vigel, and Roger Reyna. Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the: American Diabetes Association. Friends may sign the guestbook and leave condolences by visiting www.seydlerhillfuneralhome.com.

Due to current CDC and State mandates, protective measures regarding social distancing, limited attendance capacity, and use of personal protective masks will be required for the visitation, funeral service and graveside burial rite. Those remotely symptomatic of COVID-19 are politely asked not to attend.

Services are under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home.
